Actual same-day edit of Kris and Flords

Same-day-edit video is an additional/extra service that P/V service provides. In our case we got our same-day-edit video for free, it's actually not included in the package that we took but since we booked them in a bridal fair they gave us a lot of freebies and discounts. It actually cost a lot so we're lucky that we have it for free.

Same-day-edit video or also known as onsite video is an edited video of what happen from the bride and groom preparation , to the church or the actual ceremony up to the reception. These are actually the highlights and we can also say the best thing that happened from the morning preparation until the reception. These videos are often being shown to the guest while their having the meal. It's very entertaining for the guests especially when they see theirselves on the big screen.

My Wedding Suppliers Update

This is just a quick post.  I still have 7 months to prepare for my wedding , 218 days to be exact as of today.  So far I already booked 5 major suppliers hehehe...  I'm so excited and active in preparing for my wedding.  I'm the kind of person who hates cramming and doing things in the last minutes.  I want everything to be organized.  I know that there's no such thing as a perfect wedding but as much as possible I want it to be at least near to perfect.  Another thing is that we are considering our budget,  it's very important to know your budget and how much  you are willing to spend for your wedding..   Early preparation can also gives you an opportunity to get a lot of discounts and  freebies.  Also by doing this you can get to avail their old prices , as we know prices goes up every year, so if  you booked their product or service this year and they will increase their price for the next year,  you will still pay their old price.   Is'nt it a smart move?!?!? Yes it is!

Our Reception Venue : The Oasis Pavillion

(It's me, this was taken when we made the down payment for the Pavillion)

I just wanna share my first wedding accomplishment. We already booked and made the 50% payment for our reception venue that will take place in Oasis Pavillion . It's my first choice for my reception, when we went there to ask for the availability of the date, I didn't expect that most of the dates for 2010 are already booked, I remember telling my fiance that if we're not going to have our reception in Oasis I will really feel bad. When we finally set our wedding date which is April 16, 2010 we immediately called Ana (our AE) to booked the said date, but she told me that someone already pencil booked that date and will just call us again to confirm the first couple if they're going to pursue the date, luckily they said no and we paid the down payment and blocked the date right away, I was relieved because I really like the place. Actually my soon to be "Father-in-law" (hehehe...) liked Gazebo Royale at first, because we attended one of our friend's wedding there and he was one of the "Ninongs" (Sponsor). The is place is nice but I find it not so spacious for 150-200 guests. When we visited the Oasis Pavillion I fell in love with the place right away, it's really spacious and it can accommodate up to 450 guests. They also have a raised stage for your band or performers, cooling mists and a stylish draping that can compliment our theme . They also have an ample parking for the guests. The couple can also use their bridal suite for 5 hours. Our AE is Ana Macahilig, she's really nice and easy to talk to.

Here are the pictures my soon to be sis-in-law took when we went there:

The Wedding Reception

I've been to a lot of weddings already, as in a lot... We are often invited and sometimes we're not even invited (hehehe... wedding crashers!). So I can tell the difference of each venues from one another. Since I love weddings, and of course I want my wedding to be close to perfect (if possible) , I always observed closely to every wedding I attend.

RESTAURANT

Having your reception in a restaurant is very affordable and convenient. You don't need to pay for a separate caterer since it's included on their package. There's also a variety of restaurant you can choose from and it's not too hard to reserve compare to other reception establishments. But since you are on budget, don't expect too much just make the event fun and enjoyable for everybody.

HOTEL

Elegant, air conditioned, the service is good, you can even have your wedding preparation suite in the same hotel because it can be included from the package. But not for me I think, having a reception in a hotel gives you limited activities to do. Most of the hotel reception venues doesn't have enough space for games and dancing. Also, having a buffet set up is not a good idea because guests tends to get crowded, if your planning to have your wedding reception in a hotel, it's better to have a sit down lunch or dinner set-up instead.

GARDEN RECEPTION

This is where I want my wedding reception to take place. Since most of INC's and Catholics are not allowed to have a garden wedding, a garden reception is the best alternative. A lot of garden venues are spacious, covered , it can be air conditioned, and some uses a cooling mist. Most of them are beautifully landscaped , decorated and offers a variety of their accredited caterers. Most of these venues also offers bridal suites which you can use for a day. It's also very spacious and you can do a lot of activities here. You can also take pictures around the venue, since it's a garden, you can take advantage of the place.
